Our production team is an integral part of what we do at Hope Midtown. Hope Midtown is a “mobile” Church which essentially means that we rent the space that we meet in. Our production team sets up and tears down for our services every week. We couldn’t do what we do without our amazing volunteers! There’s plenty of opportunity to get involved whether you have a ton of experience or none at all; there’s a place for you!

WAYS TO GET INVOLVED

CAMERA

At Hope Midtown, we record our Sunday messages and we upload them to our Youtube Channel. Our Camera position requires no experience at all. It consists of setting up the video camera & equipment, recording the messages and tearing it down once the services have been completed. It’s an easy win that goes such a long way! We love that we can share what God is doing in our services with our Church family while some may be unable to make it due to work travel or family vacations in addition to being able to share our messages with people outside of our community as well!

VISUALS

On Sunday’s, our visual tech sets up the projector and runs the ProPresenter software to make sure that there are lyrics on screen during worship, and to ensure that we can follow along with whoever is sharing a message with us from the platform. We often have visitors who may not be familiar with some of the songs that we sing during our time of worship through music, or other times we introduce new songs that our community might not be familiar with. It’s amazing that our visual tech can be used by God to help bring unity and understanding to our worship gatherings through running ProPresenter.

PHOTOGRAPHY

A photo can often say a thousand words. We love to document what God is doing in our services and sharing it with our community and others outside of our community through social media, and through our website. If you have a passion for photography, we’d love for you to be involved! Photography is an incredible creative outlet; if you are gifted in this area, this a perfect place for you to serve our community!

SOUND

Our Sound Engineer perhaps requires the most amount of experience out of all of our Sunday Production positions. The sound engineer at is in charge of setting up the sound board and equipment which requires a knowledge or background in live sound engineering. If you have experience in this area, we would absolutely love for you to get involved!
