Redeemer Counseling Services is hosting a free counseling workshop for healthcare professionals in partnership with the New York City chapter and the Psychiatry Section of the Christian Medical and Dental Associations (CMDA).
In this workshop, psychiatrist Margaret Yoon, MD, will:
Discuss the physical signs of psychological trauma and acute and/or chronic stress
Provide practical ways to process traumatic experiences, build resilience, and adapt to current demands in the healthcare environment from the Christian worldview
Suggest ways healthcare professionals can improve in self-care
This workshop will include a breakout group time with licensed counselors or psychiatrists for participants to process their healthcare experiences of grief and trauma. The breakout groups are limited to the first 130 participants who register.
