The (&) Campaign calls Christians to civic engagement in prayer and wisdom. In our upcoming Politics (&) Prayer event on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at 7 PM, we invite all believers in the New York Metro area to come together to process the 2020 presidential election. During the event, we seek to lift up in prayer the polarization and division within the country and the Church and point people to God for answers.
Speakers:
- Pastor James Roberson (Bridge Church, Brooklyn);
- Pastor Kristian Hernandez (Hope Church, Astoria);
- facilitator: Jessica Rice (Renaissance Church, Harlem)
Our key objectives include:
Giving Church leaders from around NYC a platform to share faith-filled and Bible-based encouragement
Providing space for Christians to name the tension, distress and disappointment being felt in the country and the Church
Emphasizing that Christians of different political beliefs work together in unity to build the kingdom of God, humbly serving one another and our neighbors
Recalibrating the worldview goggles of believers to help them to see God in the midst of uncertainty
